Dime Stories

Tyrium, the most valuable compound in the galaxy, has been found at the edge of known space, outside of Imperial control, on a small frontier planet aptly called Backwater. Corporate wageslaves, would-be prospectors, and the scum of the galaxy been makin' their way to Backwater for a few cycles now. They're all lookin' to make their riches on the barren planet. Some come to drill the planet for all she's got. Some hope to make money supportin' the miners and guilds. Some just want to bleed the easy marks dry.

Needless to say, this particular backwater planet ain't exactly a safe place. But there's glory and riches for those that seek them.

Dime Stories is a card-based space/western role-playing game set on a frontier world far outside anything that could be considered civilized. With elements of poker twisted into its ruleset, Dime Stories is designed for fast, easy, character-driven gameplay.

Punk’s been dead since ‘79

From the author of a bunch of stuff you’ve never heard of (because it never got published), and possibly some stuff you might have heard of (if you ever played Dime Stories), comes a game about growing up in the darkest heart of the American Midwest. 

Players are punks in the 1990s and early 2000s. Their life revolves around going to Shows and living the Scene. The game is about finding your place in a world that hates anything different, finding an identity in a society that craves conformity, and finding yourself in a subculture that can’t make up its mind about what it wants to be. 

PBDS79 is about small towns full of religious extremists, violent rednecks, and equally violent punks. It’s about going to the American Legion Hall every other month in hopes of seeing Public Urine Nation play a set. It’s about making friends who understand your struggles. It’s about all these things and more.

superhuman: Comic Book Roleplaying Game

Superhuman is a hybrid miniatures/role’playing game where the players create Centennial City’s greatest defenders- or worst villains. Do you have what it takes to step up to the plate and try to save the world, or are you destined to rule the world while it burns around you?

As a hybrid game, Superhuman characters can be used in competitive miniature battles. Conversely, characters designed for miniatures battles can be brought into the roleplaying game without any modification.

We’ve also recently signed a deal to have IPR carry our products. Over the next few weeks we expect to have imported many of our products and we will be updating IPR at the same time as Drivethru from now on.

indie press Revolution

Some of our products can be found at Indie Press Revolution- and through them, your local game store. Just like with DrivethruRPG, printed games bought through Indie Press Revolution will get you a free pdf.

Conventions

Gen con

Every year, we run games at Gen Con- showing off new adventures and games in Saturday morning slots with prizes, multi-table games, and sometimes- cereal.

Origins Game Fair

In 2019 we started to make a regular appearance at Origins similar to how we do at Gencon. We premiered the new edition of Dime Stories, and ran games of Superhuman, PBDs79, Boldly Go!, and Dungeon Adventure.

Local Conventions

We strive to make appearances at local conventions whenever possible- especially our own Jeph Lewis’ annual charity convention, Jephcon. Money raised at Jephcon goes toward suicide awareness at charities like To Write Love on Her Arms.
